ICT Department held ADP Review Meeting for FY 2021-22

The Department for Information and Communication Technology's Annual Development Program (ADP) Implementation Review Meeting for the Fiscal Year 2021-22 was held on the Digital Platform this afternoon. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present at the meeting online. The meeting was chaired by NM Zeaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology. The meeting discussed in detail the implementation plans of the projects undertaken by the ICT department in the current financial year, achievement of monthly and realistic targets, decisions taken and recruitment of manpower. Financial of all other projects including Mobile Game and Application Skills Development Project, Innovation and Entrepreneur Development Academy Establishment Project, Secure Email and Digital Literacy Center Establishment Project for Government of Bangladesh, Connected Bangladesh Title Project, Digital Security Agency Establishment and Necessary Infrastructure Development Project. It may be mentioned that in the current financial year, 1 thousand 452 crore 71 lakh taka has been allocated for 23 development projects under ICT department including 3 technical and 1 own projects for a total of 26 projects with own funding. It was informed in the meeting that the financial progress of the projects of ICT department till November 2021 is 19.27%. The Minister of State instructed the concerned persons including the Project Director to ensure 100% speedy progress of projects and complete the work on time while maintaining quality as per the work plan. The project managers promised to complete the work of the projects within the stipulated time.
